Qualifying homes will have a 150mm insulation board applied to the external flat dormer roof by a qualified roofing company. This is then covered with EPDM rubber with a life expectancy of up to 50 years.

3 Step Process

Step 1 – Assessment

We will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of your property’s energy performance and condition to determine how energy efficient it is and to recommend potential measures to be installed. You will be asked to sign paperwork to confirm you are happy to have the works carried out as we require this documentation as part of the compliance for the scheme. You will also be asked to provide documentation such as a Utility Bill or a Tenancy Agreement which can also be emailed.

Step 2 – Ventilation Upgrade Installation

From our assessment we will identify 3 key areas of ventilation to improve the air quality within your property, these are:

• Extraction Fans
• Trickle Vents in Window Frames
• Door Undercuts

Our team will be in touch to arrange installation of the ventilation upgrade being installed as they are Government requirements of the GBIS scheme.

Step 3 – Professional Installation

Our team will contact you to arrange the installation of the measure itself at a convenient time. The installation process is typically 2-3 days and our site manager will oversee all aspects of the project.
